My Scouting Experience

Eagle Scout

Achieved the rank of Eagle Scout in 1993, completing a service project that benefited my local community. The values and skills I learned on this journey continue to guide me today.

Leadership Roles

Served in various leadership positions including Senior Patrol Leader, Junior Assistant Scoutmaster, and later as an adult volunteer helping guide the next generation of scouts.

Outdoor Adventures

Participated in numerous high-adventure activities including backpacking at Philmont Scout Ranch, canoeing in the Boundary Waters, and attending National Jamborees.

Scouting Philosophy

Scouting has been a cornerstone of my personal development, teaching me values that have shaped who I am today. The Scout Oath and Law aren't just words to memorize—they're principles to live by.

My journey through scouting taught me leadership, self-reliance, environmental stewardship, and community service. These lessons have proven invaluable throughout my personal and professional life, guiding my decisions and interactions with others.

As an adult, I've had the privilege of giving back to the organization that gave me so much, serving as a volunteer and mentor to help guide the next generation of scouts on their own journeys of discovery and growth.
